After an approved company rebrand, it is critical that the website and software follow suite in getting a much needed upgrade. The website and CMS dashboard (core product) are currently being designed. However in order to carry out the redesign, I developed the design system that will act as the style guide for all future digital developments.
After launching the rebrand, all digital platforms and products are road mapped to be redesigned in the new brand style. Furthermore using the revamping of the digital ecosystem as an opportunity to implement much needed UX framework that has the user in mind. As the platforms are currently being designed, it was key for a distinct UI style to be created and used to overarch all new developments.
To assist in the process the ODM Design System was created to become the standardized UI elements library and the benchmark for all digital design within One Digital Media.
The design system covers broad style guides, components, elements, fonts and symbols to ensure that there is standardization across the entire brand architecture and supporting products.
